The bathroom was a pleasant surprise with a refreshing shower. It made me feel like I was standing under a tropical waterfall, washing all my worries away. As someone who loves nature, this bathroom was a little piece of paradise.
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit cramped, but some may still enjoy its cozy charm.

The breakfast menu could have been improved with a wider selection of options.

Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with stunning views from the garden. We stayed for 3 nights but would happily have stayed longer. Great location for exploring the moors and beyond. Lovely touches for both humans and pets, including throws and bowls. Opposite the Co-op and a pub just a few doors down. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
Would recommend this hotel.

The cottage was lovely with plenty of space, perfect for four people and 1 dog. Nice and cosy with lots to do in the village. Castleton is a great location, with a small supermarket, a great pub that serves food, and a lovely cafe. The Deli 21 near the cottage was a highlight, offering delicious packed lunches for our walks. Plenty of walking routes available from the cottage. Excellent location for exploring all parts of North Yorkshire. The cottage was well-appointed, with a very cosy lounge and comfortable bedrooms. We slept well during our stay. The village pub and a local Co-op were conveniently located just a short walk away. Parking was easy to find close to the cottage. We would happily return and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Felt like a fairy-tale experience, where nothing was too much trouble.
